The Cabinet of 2017-2018

With the new school year coming forward, our club recently had elections for new cabinet members. Although most of them already had a position before, they decided to run for a role that would best suit them and their desires to improve UNICEF.

These representatives were reliable throughout the school year and they helped the president manage funds, promote the club, coordinated volunteer events, and actually did their jobs. Now, they're ready to take full responsibility and make the 2017-2018 school year an enjoyable one.

President: Roxanne Perez

Continuing on from this recent school year, I am honored to still be the president of UNICEF and I hope to work with my cabinet at an efficient pace. After going through a large amount of hardships and stress, I think that I have grown as a leader and an individual. Next year I will definitely plan more volunteer events and help my members understand how they can help children around the world. When my friends and I graduate from high school, I plan to leave UNICEF in the hands of someone who will keep the club alive and surpass me.

Vice President: Katie Chiu

Plans for UNICEF: ease the workload of the president by assisting with tasks such as communication (on Instagram and Remind), guide members in the absence of the president, and to help children around the world with our events!

Secretary and Historian: Abril Gutierrez

Hello, my name is Abril Gutierrez and I'm UNICEF's new secretary and continuing historian. As the new secretary I will help manage UNICEF's important paperwork and its social media accounts. I will also continue to take pictures for this club and its website as the returning historian. I will continue to work hard, so I hope you will continue to support me next year.

Treasurer: Kyle Ona

My name is Nunilon Kyle On and I am the new treasurer of SOCES UNICEF. Being the new treasurer, I have the responsibility of tracking and counting money that our club makes during events and fundraisers. I will commit myself to be a productive member in the club and fulfill all my duties assigned to me in this position

Note: New changes to the members page will be made around May since the term is coming to an end. Next year, the changes to the cabinet and members page will take place in June.
